Why 30-minute sessions?

The live time is for what benefits most from a teacher: hearing, speaking, correction and questions. Then you practise between sessions and come back to use it again.

Focus while live Use the session for speaking, listening and correction rather than long explanations.

Practise between sessions Repeat the phrases and situations while they are fresh instead of trying to absorb everything at once.

Return and retry Come back to the next session, retrieve the German again and correct what still needs work.

What we practise

Introductions and real situations are the material. The aim is to make the German usable.

Introductions & personal information Say who you are, what you do, where you come from and continue the conversation.

Everyday situations Shops, trains, appointments, work, housing and other situations relevant to the group.

Likely replies Practise not only what you say, but what the other person may actually say back.

Pronunciation & listening Hear it, say it, receive correction and try again.

When you don't understand Ask again, clarify and keep the conversation moving.

Cultural context Understand what is normally said and expected in common situations in Germany.

This is live guided practice, not a fixed prerecorded course. The foundations are common, while examples, corrections and emphasis can adapt to the learners in the group.

For A1/A2 speaking & listening

The same work on introductions, questions, replies, pronunciation and listening strengthens the skills used in exams. Exam-specific preparation can be added when needed.
